Episode 1

Gazebo

Ever wonder what it would be like to voice-generate real-life fantasyscapes and have them brought to your front door? To travel through them with your very own giant riding-tortoise? And to meet the algorithm, himself, who designed it all? We all have. Listen to the episode, "Gazebo", this time on Roving Shorts.

Marianne Padilla

Marianne Padilla has trouble corralling her illusions. When they’re not running amok across her creative fiction podcast, Roving Shorts, they’ve occasionally been spotted loose on a few of her paintings. In the past, she’s tried organizing them with education and came out of it with a BA in Linguistics from UC Berkeley, and an MA in English from CSU East Bay. That helped, but not enough. After that, her imaginary entourage tagged along with her to inhabit a sleepy suburb of Orlando, FL, along with her husband and four children.
